Welcome...

Welcome to Modesty at Mass!

Very few young adults and children are being taught about Modesty in general, let alone at Mass! When we participate in the Mass we are receiving Jesus Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. If we truly believe that Jesus is really present in the Eucharist, how is it possible that we can wear casual clothing and immodest attire?
The purpose of this blog is for the majority of Catholics to re-evaluate what they are wearing to Mass, and try to instruct the ignorant (I used to be one of them).

A few days ago we made this video on Catholic Modesty and uploaded it to Youtube. Simply click on the link below to watch!

  1. We should always practice modesty, but we don't have to dress up or put on a show for Mass. Jesus IS most fully present at Mass in the Eucharist, but He never demanded that people wear special clothing in His Presence. Rather, in St. Matthew's gospel, book 23, verse 5, He condemned the use of clothing as a display of religiousity as the Pharisees were wont to do, and in the same Gospel, chapter 6, verse 25, He advised His disciples to take no thought about clothing; AND St Paul took that one step further, saying that our beauty should come from our good works, and not from our style of dress.
